Working closely with the application support team that manages and maintains the trading software that traders use daily. Building a monitoring tool using open source technologies Grafana, Prometheus, Alerta, the Elastic Stack, and Python along
with integrating with proprietary bank software such as the bank chat bot. The monitoring tool is used daily by the application support team during the stock market open and market close.
Suffolk Soccer Interleague - Since 2014
While refereeing I had to exercise excellent communication skills, navigate difficult situations, and employ patience. Additional roles being a referee include establishing clear benchmarks for performance and monitoring individual and team progress. Furthermore, while working, I proactively taught rules and strategies to athletes, which especially assisted the younger players whom are just beginning to play soccer.
Personal website developed using Flutter/Dart as the development API and Firebase for hosting the website. This was the first time creating a website using both Dart and Flutter and it was interesting to see how the technology worked compared to web development with plain JavaScript. I plan on using Flutter down the line for cross-platform mobile application development.
This project was created as part of the Fall 2021 SBUHacks hackathon. It is a resource-manager game programmed in plain JavaScript/HTML/CSS and is meant for play in browser. The premise behind the game is that you crash landed onto a planet and must create a rocket to escape all while worrying about eating and dealing with random events.
